Venere inaugurates new fountain to revitalize town square

A new fountain has been inaugurated in Venere, designed to serve as a symbol of identity and historical remembrance for the community. Inspired by the ‘Birth of Venus’, the project aims to revitalize the local square and connect the town's modern life with its ancient history, specifically referencing the temple dedicated to Venus Mirtea built in the 2nd century BC.

Mayor Luigi Soricone emphasized that the fountain is intended to be more than an ornamental piece, acting as a bridge between the past and the future while transforming the square into a central gathering place for residents and visitors.
