Veneto historic estates host Natura in Villa festival

The Natura in Villa festival, organized by the Dimore Amiche del Veneto and supported by the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, continues through November 7, offering public access to private historic estates in the Veneto region.

On October 25, events will be held at Parco Frassanelle in Rovolon, the Castello di Thiene, and Villa Valmarana ai Nani. Activities at Parco Frassanelle include botanical walks and lectures reconstructing the area's plant history from the 13th century to the 20th century. The Castello di Thiene will offer tours of its walled park, frescoed halls, and romantic gardens, featuring centuries-old magnolias and a 16th-century elliptical grotto.

Additional programming at the Castello di Thiene includes a special event on November 7 and 8, where over 1,500 candles will illuminate the frescoed rooms and stables of the Renaissance-era residence.
