Veneto launches tourism marketing plan for Euganean Hills
The Veneto Region has launched an operational phase for a strategic territorial marketing program aimed at relaunching and enhancing the ‘Terme e Colli Euganei’ (Euganean Hills and Thermal Baths) tourist destination. An official framework agreement for cooperation was approved in Teolo, establishing programmatic and strategic guidelines to increase both domestic and international visitor numbers.
The project integrates public resources, expertise, and private initiatives. The Veneto Region will serve as the strategic coordinator and financier, providing a total allocation of 4.5 million euros over the 2026-2028 triennium, distributed at 1.5 million euros per year.
Governance involves 16 municipalities, with Teolo acting as the lead municipality. Other key participants include the Padua Chamber of Commerce, the Tourism Foundation of Padova Terme e Colli Euganei, various trade associations, and economic operators. The destination encompasses the thermal basin, the regional park, and villages included in the UNESCO Mab Biosphere Reserve.
