Veneto Region allocates 250,000 euros for civil protection plans

The Veneto Regional Council has approved the allocation of 250,000 euros to support the drafting and revision of municipal and inter-municipal civil protection plans. Proposed by Regional Councilor for Civil Protection Elisa Venturini, the funding is intended to help local administrations update their emergency protocols in accordance with new regional guidelines.

The initiative specifically targets small municipalities and territories most exposed to risks, emphasizing the need for coordinated responses between neighboring entities. This measure follows previous funding rounds in 2022, 2024, and 2025, which provided over 2 million euros to nearly 300 applications.
