Veneto Region announces 929,000 euro funding for beekeeping

The Veneto regional government has launched a new funding call for the beekeeping sector under the FEAGA 2027 annual cycle. Total resources amounting to 929,584.19 euros have been allocated to support investments, innovation, and competitiveness within the industry.

The funds are divided into three distinct categories: 819,584.19 euros for associated forms, 90,000 euros for beekeeping entrepreneurs, and 20,000 euros for specialized research organizations. The initiative aims to improve market orientation and long-term competitiveness through increased focus on technology, research, and digitalization.

Specific actions supported include climate adversity prevention (specifically emergency feeding), the rationalization of transhumance, and the purchase of equipment and management systems. Applications must be submitted to the Agenzia Veneta per i Pagamenti (AVEPA) by the deadline of October 6, 2026.
