Veneto Region invests 15.7 million euros in ITS Academy

The Veneto Region has approved a new public notice titled ‘ITS Academy del Veneto – I Tecnici del futuro’ for the 2026-2028 biennium. The initiative involves an investment of over 15.7 million euros to support ITS Academy, a professional higher education system designed to bridge the gap between training and the productive sector.

Regional Councilor for Education and Training, Valeria Mantovan, stated that the model aims to support technological transformations, digital transitions, and energy transitions to bolster regional competitiveness. The program focuses on providing immediate market-ready skills, noting that the employment rate for ITS graduates in Veneto is approximately 82%, which exceeds the national average.
