Veneto tourism highlights historical villas and family activities

The Veneto region offers diverse cultural and hospitality experiences, ranging from historical villa stays to family-oriented activities in Venice.

In the Riviera del Brenta, Villa Sofia Charming Rooms in Dolo provides accommodation inspired by the area's historic Venetian villas. Following a restoration completed in 2026, the establishment features nine rooms and common areas dedicated to notable historic residences, aiming to connect guests with the local heritage of the Naviglio area.

Venice provides various educational and interactive opportunities for families. Key attractions include the World of Potential at Procuratie Vecchie, which uses 16 installations to stimulate creativity, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which hosts Sunday 'Kids Day' workshops. The Natural History Museum in Fondaco dei Turchi offers exhibits on fossils and marine life, while lagoon islands such as Murano, Burano, and Torcello remain popular destinations for exploring glassmaking and local history.
