Venezia and Verona complete Lorenzo Montipò swap deal

Venezia FC and Hellas Verona have completed a permanent player exchange involving goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò and midfielder Nunzio Lella.

Montipò has joined Venezia on a permanent transfer from Hellas Verona, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2028. The goalkeeper, who has accumulated 216 Serie A appearances, cited Venezia’s significant investment and project as key motivators for the move.

As part of the deal, Nunzio Lella will move in the opposite direction to Hellas Verona on a permanent basis. The transaction allows Verona to reduce its wage bill while securing a versatile midfielder for their technical project.
