Venezia FC travelled to Divonne‑les‑Bains, France, for the second match of its pre‑season tour and was beaten 4‑3 by AS Saint‑Étienne on 1 August 2026. The French side took the lead early through Danish forward Jakob Breum, who later added a second goal. Venezia equalised twice, first via Farji and later from a penalty scored by Akor Adams, before Saint‑Étienne restored the advantage with goals from Breum and Lucas Stassin.
