Venezuela advances public works and energy infrastructure projects
Venezuela's Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services is intensifying oversight of national infrastructure projects. Vice President Juan José Ramírez Luces recently led a national videoconference with ministers and community representatives to evaluate the progress of ongoing works across various states, emphasizing a commitment to meeting community requests and ensuring project quality.
In the Zulia state, significant progress has been made regarding energy infrastructure. The TZ07 unit of the General Rafael Urdaneta Thermoelectric Complex (Termozulia) is scheduled to synchronize with the National Electrical System (SEN) within 72 hours. This follows the successful start of the unit's slow rotation. The rehabilitation of the complex includes eight active work fronts, covering units TZ02, TZ05, TZ08, and the turbines of the Rafael Urdaneta complex, aimed at improving regional energy stability.
