Venezuela and Dominican Republic expand school facilities for hundreds of children

In the Guárico state of Venezuela, the Escuela Básica Sunirde Mercedes Castro Brizuela entered its second phase of rehabilitation. The project, funded by the national government through the Fundación de Edificaciones y Dotaciones Educativas (FEDE) and the Guárico governor Donald Donaire, includes roof replacement, electrical system upgrades, painting, patio restoration and other repairs, serving roughly 400 children.

In the Dominican Republic, President Luis Abinader inaugurated the new Escuela Básica Minerva Mirabal in Los Cerros de Sabana Perdida. The modern school, equipped with 27 classrooms, a library, cafeteria, sports court and other facilities, will accommodate more than 900 students. Ministers highlighted the project as part of a broader effort to guarantee that every child has access to quality education.
