Venezuela and Mexico announce new administrative requirements
Venezuela's Administrative Service of Identification, Migration, and Foreigners (Saime) has released an official guide regarding the mandatory documentation required for minors traveling out of the country. The regulations vary based on the legal status of the minor, including requirements for children traveling with a surviving parent, those with legal guardians, or those traveling with third parties. Specific documents such as death certificates, travel permits from the Council for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (Cpnna), or court rulings on parental rights are required to facilitate migratory control at airports and border crossings.
In Mexico, the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) has opened the registration period for the Rita Cetina Universal Basic Education Scholarship. Running from October 26 to November 6, the program targets students in public primary and secondary schools. Families can register online using a certified CURP, an active Llave MX account, and contact information. The scholarship provides bimonthly support of 1,900 pesos for secondary students, with additional amounts for siblings, and 2,500 pesos annually for primary students to assist with school supplies.
