Venezuela banking sector observes nationwide holiday on June 29, 2026
All commercial bank branches and teller windows across Venezuela will be closed on Monday, 29 June 2026 in observance of the San Pedro and San Pablo holiday, as announced by the banking regulator Sudeban. Customers can still complete most transactions through online platforms, mobile payment apps, ATMs, and telephone banking. Sudeban advises users to plan cash withdrawals and important payments in advance and to rely on digital channels during the closure. Normal in‑person banking resumes on Tuesday, 30 June, while the next scheduled banking holiday is set for 24 July, commemorating the birthday of Simón Bolívar.
