Venezuela: Calls for dialogue and institutional reform

Stalin González, representing the Libertad Parliamentary Group, has called for meaningful dialogue and concrete results to address Venezuela’s 27-year political and social crisis. He noted the recent steps taken by a joint commission consisting of representatives from the 2015 National Assembly and government officials.

González emphasized that for dialogue to be effective, it must lead to tangible solutions, including free and transparent elections, respect for human rights, and the restoration of state institutions. He stressed that rebuilding public trust requires transparency, accountability, and a clear alignment between official discourse and the daily reality of Venezuelan citizens.
