Humanitarian aid expands for Venezuela earthquake victims
The Z Zurich Foundation has launched a humanitarian response for communities affected by recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The program supplies food, water, hygiene items, shelter kits and provides mental‑health and psychosocial support through partners such as the International Organization for Migration, Caritas Venezuela and UN agencies. The foundation also runs a matching‑donation campaign with UNHCR, pledging to match contributions 1:1 up to CHF 50,000.
Separately, the Institute of Actuaries of Spain announced an extraordinary donation of €4,500, split equally among three NGOs—Caritas Española, the Spanish Red Cross and CESAL—to finance emergency assistance for those impacted by the seismic events in Venezuela.
