Venezuela honors Egyptian Ambassador Kareem Amim

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia González awarded the Francisco de Miranda Order in the rank of ‘Generalísimo’ to the Egyptian Ambassador, Kareem Amim, marking the conclusion of his four-year mission in Venezuela.

The ceremony, held at the Casa Amarilla in Caracas, recognized Amim’s role in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Caracas and Cairo. Minister Plasencia specifically highlighted Amim’s efforts in securing humanitarian solidarity from the Egyptian government following a double earthquake in Venezuela on June 24. This included the delivery of five tons of medicine via Valencia airport in early August to support the Venezuelan public health system.
