Venezuela hosts regional agricultural and food security events

The state of Monagas is preparing for the third edition of the Expo Agroindustrial 2026, scheduled for November 25–29 at the El Guacharín parking area in Maturín. The event aims to boost regional production and features 38 livestock houses with over 500 high-genetic specimens of Gyr, Guzerat, Brahman, and Nelore breeds. International judges Judd Cullers from the United States and Lucyana Queiroz from Brazil will evaluate the livestock for the Association of Cebú Cattle Breeders (Asocebú).

In Guárico, the Campo Soberano Fair was held in the José Tadeo Monagas municipality as part of the ‘Venezuela Alimenta’ plan. Organized by local and national food ministries, the initiative provided the community with access to proteins, groceries, and vegetables at affordable prices to support food security and family economies.
