Venezuela implements regional housing and infrastructure repair plans

Regional authorities in Venezuela are implementing various infrastructure and housing rehabilitation programs. In Nueva Esparta, Governor Marisel Velásquez is executing a regional plan through the Institute of Housing and Habitat (INSVIH). To date, the initiative has completed the integral repair of 11 homes and the renovation of facades in the Bella Vista community and the La Encrucijada urbanism.

In Caracas, Vice Minister of Social Articulation for Public Works Marjorie Moreno announced the rehabilitation of the Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro church, also known as the Pagüita church, following structural damage caused by recent earthquakes. As part of the Gran Misión Venezuela Bella, the project will also include repairs to the adjacent San Rafael school to ensure safe facilities for its 1,130 students.
