Baker Hughes signs energy infrastructure deals in Venezuela

Baker Hughes has entered into two strategic agreements to advance energy infrastructure in Venezuela. The company signed an alliance with PDVSA, Lindsayca, and Fulcrum LNG Inc. to revitalize and expand the nation's natural gas value chain. This partnership aims to improve gas production, processing, transportation, and commercialization, with long-term goals of enabling liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports.

Additionally, Baker Hughes signed a Memorandum of Understanding with New Stratus Energy Inc. to support future oil and gas development projects. These initiatives are designed to connect upstream resource development with necessary midstream infrastructure. Baker Hughes noted that all projects remain subject to applicable U.S. sanctions and export control requirements, including necessary authorizations from the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
