Venezuela launches holiday security deployment across beaches and religious sites

The Venezuelan national executive has initiated a preventive security deployment titled “Navidades Felices y Seguras” to protect citizens during the December holiday season. The operation covers 456 suitable beaches, rivers, and resorts throughout the country.

In addition to coastal areas, the plan includes surveillance for 44 national parks, 38 natural monuments, and 256 religious sites. According to Division General Endes Palencia, Vice Minister of the Integrated Police System, this plan differs from previous holiday operations by incorporating the protection of liturgical festivities and Christmas traditions.

The initiative is part of the National Protection Plan for Holidays, Vacations, and Festivities, following directives aimed at safeguarding citizen tranquility.
