July benefit payments launched across Latin America

Venezuela's government began the July installment of its Ingreso Integral program, depositing 108,600 bolívares (about $150) for active public‑sector workers and announcing a second $50 payment later in the month.

In Argentina, the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) will apply a 1.89% increase to pensions and family allowances in August 2026, while the universal child benefit of $70,000 remains frozen. The province of Corrientes also confirmed a one‑time Plus de Refuerzo of $100,000 for public‑sector employees, to be paid between 20 and 24 July.

Guatemala's Institute of Social Security (IGSS) clarified that more than 233,000 retirees will receive a Q300 bonus on 22 July, amounting to roughly Q70 million, as part of the IVS program.

Financial advisers in Peru and Colombia warned workers about common errors when handling the July gratuity, urging budgeting, debt repayment, savings, and caution against digital fraud.

These coordinated payments affect hundreds of thousands of workers and retirees across the region.
