Venezuela launches June 2026 university scholarship bonus payment

On 10 June 2026 the Venezuelan government began disbursing the June "Beca Universitaria" scholarship bonus to university students. The payment, made through the Patria platform and notified via a message from number 3532 or the VeMonedero app, amounts to 3 093.80 bolívares, equivalent to about US$5.35 at the official Central Bank rate. This represents an 11.56 % increase in bolívares compared with the May payment of 2 773.10 bolívares.

The same period also saw the rollout of other state‑provided bonuses, such as the "Corresponsabilidad y Formación" benefit for public‑sector workers and teachers, but the university scholarship bonus is the focus of the current payment cycle.
