Venezuela opens 2026 medical residency applications

The Venezuelan Ministry of Health has launched the call for the 2026 selection process for Programmed Assistential Residencies (RAPCCE). This program allows medical professionals to pursue advanced studies and specialist certifications within the public hospital system across the country.

Document submission is scheduled from September 21 to October 2, 2026. Applicants must submit their files in person to the Research and Teaching Coordination of their chosen hospital. Available specialties include Phoniatrics, Clinical Nutrition, and Imaging/Radiodiagnostics, among others.

Participating facilities are located in several states, including the Capital District, Miranda, Carabobo, Aragua, and Lara, as well as centers in Anzoátegui, Cojedes, Falcón, Guárico, Monagas, Portuguesa, Sucre, and Yaracuy.
