Venezuela political groups mark anniversaries and honor fallen leaders

In La Guaira, members of Acción Democrática Resistencia marked the 85th anniversary of the organization with a solemn memorial service rather than traditional celebrations. The event focused on honoring the legacies of local leaders Milagros Eulate, a deputy and member of the National Executive Committee, and José Pacheco, the sectional organizational secretary, both of whom died during a devastating double earthquake on June 24. The mass, held at the Inmaculado Corazón de María Church, served as a moment of solidarity for families affected by the natural disaster.

Separately, the political organization Proyecto Venezuela is preparing to celebrate its 31st anniversary on September 19 in Valencia, Carabobo. The commemorative agenda includes a thanksgiving mass at the Santa Rosa Church followed by a central event at the Colegio de Ingenieros. The gathering aims to evaluate current political challenges and reaffirm the party’s focus on decentralization and public management. The event will feature remote messages from founders Henrique Salas Römer and Henrique Fernando Salas Feo.
