Venezuela promotes investment opportunities through summits and international outreach
The Venezuelan entrepreneurial ecosystem is actively seeking to connect with global capital through high-profile events and international diplomatic efforts. The sixth edition of the Startup Venezuela Summit (SVS) recently concluded in Caracas, drawing over 3,000 attendees, including founders, investors, and members of the Venezuelan diaspora. The event featured Richard Branson as a keynote speaker, who remarked that “Venezuela has all the ingredients to be a great country.”
Simultaneously, efforts to attract private investment are being conducted in the United States. LEĜA, represented by Senior Partner Pedro Urdaneta, participated in meetings in New York and Washington, D.C., during LAVCA Week 2026. These engagements included discussions at the New York Stock Exchange and participation in the “Venezuela Reopens: Building an Investable Private Capital Market” forum. These initiatives aim to present the evolution of the Venezuelan economy to international fund managers, financial advisors, and multilateral institutions to foster long-term private capital inflows.
