Venezuela pushes faster admin processes and calls for sanction lift at Expo Fedeindustria
At the IV Expo Fedeindustria 2026, Venezuelan Minister of Industries and Commerce Luis Villegas announced a government drive to accelerate administrative procedures. He said the executive is implementing digital efficiency tools and strengthening single‑window services to cut bureaucracy, shorten response times, and simplify tax compliance for businesses.
Villegas also urged the removal of international sanctions, stating that lifting them is essential for revitalising factories and the broader economy. He emphasized ongoing cooperation with business chambers, regional outreach, and the integration of digital platforms to support a more transparent and modern economic system.
