Delcy Rodríguez leads housing delivery in Caracas and negotiates new deals with Vietnam

In Caracas, Acting President Delcy Rodríguez led the formal delivery of over 400 restored homes as part of the 'Venezuela Renace' Plan. The initiative has rehabilitated a total of 1,476 homes across sectors such as San Martín, Santa Mónica, and Catia, involving community management and technical workers to repair infrastructure including water pipes, roofs, and common areas.

On the diplomatic front, Rodríguez announced that Venezuela is negotiating more than 30 new cooperation agreements with Vietnam in sectors including energy, agriculture, and telecommunications. During a ceremony, the outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador, Vu Trung My, was awarded the Francisco de Miranda Order for his service in strengthening bilateral ties.

Domestically, Rodríguez has accused unnamed groups of sabotaging the national electrical system in protest of recent oil agreements involving the United States, specifically citing gas pressure manipulation. However, opposition leaders have rejected these claims, arguing that the ongoing power crisis is the result of long-term corruption and a lack of infrastructure maintenance.
