Fatal electrical incidents have been reported in different regions of Venezuela, highlighting risks associated with power instability and domestic wiring.
In Maracaibo, Zulia state, a three-month-old infant, Ailany Victoria Villalobos Ferrer, died after suffering severe burns from a house fire. The fire was triggered by a power surge that caused an air conditioning voltage protector to explode, igniting a mosquito net in the infant's crib. The child passed away after nine days of treatment at the Hospital Coromoto.
In Calabozo, Guárico state, a 28-year-old man with a disability, Víctor Alejandro Hernández Sulvaran, died instantly after accidentally stepping on a fan cable in his home.
