Venezuela Transport Ministry Reviews Mobility Systems

The Venezuelan Ministry of Popular Power for Transport held a meeting with Vice Minister of Land Transport Paola Artahona and heads of key transport agencies to assess the current state of the country's mobility systems. Participants included the directors of the State Railways Institute (Claudio Farías), Metro Caracas and Metro Los Teques (Yoel Amaya), Metro Maracaibo (Dirwings Arrieta), Metro Valencia (Yolyemil Rodríguez), and Metrobús Venezuela and SITSSA (Wilian Peña). Representatives from funding and maintenance bodies such as the National Urban Transport Fund (Fontur) president Mirla Castellanos, Yutong Venezuela, and Corpologística also presented progress and emphasized the need to increase operational capacity for modernization. Additional officials from road maintenance and infrastructure agencies highlighted accelerating work to ensure safe, quality road networks across the nation, supporting broader economic development goals.
