Venezuela U-17 men's volleyball team to debut at World Championship

The Venezuelan men's U-17 national volleyball team is set to debut in the FIVB U-17 World Championship held in Qatar. Competing in Group A, the team will face host nation Qatar, Tunisia, and France during the preliminary phase.

Venezuela enters the tournament as the undefeated champion of the Pan American Men's U-17 Volleyball Cup, having secured the title without dropping a single set. The squad is led by coach Marín Pérez and features standout players such as Diego Osorio, named Most Valuable Player at the Pan American Cup, and Benjamin García, recognized as the tournament's Best Attacker.

The group stage schedule includes a match against Qatar, followed by a game against Tunisia on August 22, and a final group stage match against France on August 24. The team aims to secure a top position in their group to advance to the knockout stages.
