In Anzoátegui state, Health Minister Carlos Alvarado, Governor Luis José Marcano, and Minister Ángel Prado led a mobilization in El Tigre to support community participation and peace. The initiative focuses on a popular consultation for the direct transfer of resources to community projects. An initial allocation of over $2 million is planned for more than 200 community works, with a subsequent $2 million intended for an additional 205 projects aimed at improving basic services and social infrastructure.
In La Guaira, Governor José Alejandro Terán oversaw the distribution of $144,000 in high-cost medical assistance to 48 patients. This program has invested over $1.5 million in the last month and a half, providing resources for pacemakers, knee and hip prostheses, catheterization, and oncology treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
