Venezuelan boxing announces major international schedule

Promoter Rafael Morón, a member of the World Boxing Association (WBA), has announced a significant schedule for Venezuelan boxing.

On September 2, Carlos ‘Triple C’ Cañizales will travel to Yokohama, Japan, to face Daiya Kira for the WBA world title. In Turmero, Aragua state, the WBA Future program will hold amateur bouts for pre-junior categories on September 4, followed by the 16th professional edition of the event on September 5.

Additionally, five Venezuelan boxers—Geremy Vera, Brian Rodríguez, Jonathan Cisneros, Leonardo Sáenz, and Yoel Finol—are confirmed to participate in the ‘KO a las Drogas’ festival in Argentina on September 26.
