Venezuelan Central Bank Sets Dollar at 667.05 Bolívares, Euro at 763.19
The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) announced that the official exchange rate for the U.S. dollar will be 667.05 bolívares and the euro 763.19 bolívares for the value date of 6 July. It also listed rates for other currencies: 98.39 bolívares per Chinese yuan, 14.25 per Turkish lira and 8.63 per Russian ruble.
In June the BCV sold $2.163 billion in foreign exchange, a 36.73 % increase from May, and aims to place at least $1.8 billion in July. Cumulative sales for the first half of the year reached $7.738 billion, up 72.11 % from the same period in 2025. The bank has moved to a daily intervention rate instead of a monthly price, which has already narrowed the exchange‑rate gap to below 14 %, signalling greater market stability.
