Venezuelan Earthquake Relief Gains Celebrity Support, Bad Bunny and Danny Ocean Send Aid
Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny dispatched more than 19 tonnes (about 42,000 lb) of food, water and other necessities to Venezuela after the June 24 earthquakes. The shipment arrived from London and was confirmed by journalist Rafael Lenín López on social media. Venezuelan vice‑president Delcy Rodríguez publicly thanked Bad Bunny, noting that 147 countries – including the United States, Brazil, El Salvador, Italy and Spain – have offered assistance.
Venezuelan artist Danny Ocean used his Marbella concert at the Starlite Occident festival to call for solidarity. He dedicated the performance to the earthquake victims, praised Spain’s rescue teams, and pledged to donate all earnings from his European tour to relief groups such as World Central Kitchen and Hogar Bambi Venezuela. Elena Rose joined the show, encouraging audience donations through a meet‑and‑greet. Both initiatives aim to bolster humanitarian aid for the thousands still affected by the disaster.
