Venezuelan Education Ministry Reactivates In-Person Public Services in Caracas

The Venezuelan Ministry of Popular Power for Education (MPPE) announced the full re‑opening of its public service counters at the main headquarters in central Caracas. Service hours will run Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a digital appointment system to manage the flow of citizens. The reopening follows structural safety checks and the evacuation of the building after two earthquakes struck the city last month. Staff have returned under strict bio‑security and internal evacuation protocols to process pending apostilles, legalizations and teacher‑credential registrations needed for the upcoming school cycle.

The ministry emphasized that visitors must attend on their assigned appointment day to avoid crowding, and that rotating staff schedules will help clear the backlog of academic documents for thousands of education professionals across the country.
