Alicia Labrador, Venezuelan entrepreneur, detained in Florida

Alicia Labrador, a Venezuelan entrepreneur and founder of the aesthetic clinic Aliestetic, was detained by U.S. immigration authorities in Doral, Florida. Reports indicate the detention occurred while she was dropping off her 16-year-old daughter at a friend's residence.

Labrador, who serves as vice president of the Doral Hispanic Women's Chamber of Commerce, reportedly entered the United States on a visa in 2016 and has a pending asylum application. According to associates, she possesses a valid work permit and driver's license and has no criminal record. While some reports attribute the arrest to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), others cite U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Following her detention, Labrador was transferred to a detention center in Texas to face immigration proceedings. Her company, Aliestetic, released a statement on social media thanking supporters for their prayers and confirming that the clinic remains operational under professional management.
