Venezuelan Government Launches Integral Income Bonus Payments to Pensioners

The Venezuelan government began disbursing the Integral Income Bonus to pensioners on May 21 via the Sistema Patria digital platform. Payments were made to beneficiaries of the Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales (IVSS) and the Gran Misión 100% Amor Mayor.

Each recipient received 30,600 bolívares, which the official exchange rate of the Banco Central de Venezuela translates to about $58.43. Social media users had expected a $60 payment based on earlier statements, leading to speculation about the missing $10.

Pensioners must log into the Patria system, navigate to the wallet section, and initiate a fund withdrawal to their registered bank account to claim the bonus.
