Venezuelan IVSS Enables Online Registration for New Businesses
Entrepreneurs in Venezuela can now register their startups with the Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales (IVSS) through the digital TIUNA platform. The process requires a current RIF, the business’s constitutive documents or an official entrepreneurship certificate, the legal representative’s identity card, and a utility bill for the business address. Users create an employer account on the IVSS portal, upload the documents, and receive an employer identification number that allows monthly social‑security contributions and employee registration.
The guide, reported by Diario Primicia and republished by Notiulti, stresses that completing the registration protects workers and avoids penalties. After the online submission, applicants must visit the local IVSS office within three days to present the original documents and receive final login credentials for managing payroll and employee records.
