La Unión de Formosa begins preseason for 2026/27 basketball season

La Unión de Formosa has officially begun its preseason training for the 2026/27 Liga Nacional de Básquetbol season. Following a successful campaign that included reaching the playoffs, the team is prioritizing project continuity. Head coach Guillermo Narvarte remains at the helm, and most of the roster has renewed their contracts to maintain team cohesion.

Training sessions, focused on physical conditioning under Daniel Pasquali, have already commenced. The current squad includes Alexis Elsener, Sebastián Acevedo, Mariano Marina, Franco Alorda, and Agustín Facello, with new additions like Brandon Beavers, Windi Graterol, and Tomas Nuno expected to join shortly.

Simultaneously, Instituto has also launched its preseason preparations at the Ángel Sandrín stadium. Under the leadership of Sebastián González, the team is working toward the upcoming national league season with a roster featuring players such as Leandro Vildoza and Gastón Whelan.
