Venezuelan TV Host Gilberto Correa protests nurse's release

A Venezuelan court granted full freedom to Mariana Tania Giammarco Yanni, the former nurse accused of attempting to kill TV host Gilberto Correa by manipulating his medication. Correa spent twelve hours at the courthouse, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., waiting for the decision. After the ruling, he denounced the judiciary as corrupt, writing on social media, “¡La justicia en Venezuela está podrida!” and vowed to hold a press conference to reveal details. He claimed the nurse had demanded a vehicle and $100,000 in exchange for “leaving him in peace” and alleged that she administered up to 400 mg of quetiapine instead of the prescribed 25 mg. Correa said he will continue to seek justice and will make all information public.
