Venezuelan officials meet with community leaders in Lara and Apure

Government officials and community leaders held meetings in Venezuela to discuss local governance and resource allocation. In the Iribarren municipality of Lara state, Minister of Communes Ángel Prado, Governor Luis Reyes Reyes, and Mayor Yanys Agüero met with representatives from 19 communes to address community needs.

Minister Prado announced that resources from the Ministry of Communes would be allocated to purchase equipment for the central hospital, specifically aiming to activate surgery and dentistry areas before the end of the year. Governor Reyes Reyes emphasized the importance of continuing assemblies to resolve issues regarding basic services.

In the Rómulo Gallegos municipality of Apure state, Mayor Pedro Vicente Guerra inaugurated the José Andrés Elorza Communal Self-Government Room. The facility is intended to strengthen direct community management and serve as a center for strategic planning and political debate.
