Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez Promotes Coffee Exports at Boca Café

President Delcy Rodríguez visited the Boca Café initiative, a specialty‑coffee project founded by producer Víctor Montilla in Boconó, Trujillo, and later inspected its Caracas facilities. She observed the roasting and packaging processes and highlighted the project's recent accolades, including the Taza de Oro award and a 90.11 score for the Monte Claro variety.

Rodríguez announced that Venezuelan coffee exports have risen 62 % so far this year, framing the sector’s growth as a key element of the country's economic diversification away from oil. The visit underscored the government's commitment to support small‑scale producers and to position Venezuelan specialty coffee in international markets.
