Venezuelan nationals detained in Chile arson and Ecuador domestic violence cases

Ansony Yosué Rondón Chasín, a Venezuelan national, has been captured in Villa El Salvador, Peru, following an Interpol red notice. He is accused of an arson attack in Santiago, Chile, on August 4, where he allegedly used accelerant to set fire to his former partner, her daughter, and a niece in their apartment. After the incident, the suspect reportedly escaped by descending from a 17th-floor balcony and fled to Peru.

In a separate incident in Pasaje, Ecuador, a Venezuelan man identified as José N. was arrested after a violent attack on his children. The assault resulted in the death of a 14-year-old girl and left her 4-year-old brother seriously injured. Authorities rescued the child and detained the suspect, who was found barricaded inside the home. The case is being investigated as homicide and attempted homicide.

Both cases involve Venezuelan nationals and have drawn significant attention to domestic violence and cross-border legal proceedings in South America.
