Venezuelan universities launch scholarship and outreach programs for students

The Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) announced a scholarship scheme that will waive 30% of tuition for Venezuelan migrants who returned to the country after at least two years abroad. The program, open to new and former UCAB students, aims to support those whose studies were interrupted by migration and will run through July 2026.

The Federación de Centros Universitarios at the Universidad de Carabobo organized a university‑recruitment tour for nearly 2,000 incoming high‑school graduates. Participants visited the campus’s seven faculties, with the FCU stating, "El objetivo es brindarles un recorrido por las siete facultades de la universidad, permitiéndoles conocer de cerca nuestros espacios y la excelencia académica que nos define." The initiative seeks to motivate students to continue their education despite economic challenges.
