Venezuela's FANB updates military health system and conducts naval maneuvers

Venezuela's Minister of Defense, General Gustavo González López, has initiated several strategic updates within the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). In a move to consolidate the military health system, new directors were appointed to military hospitals and assistance centers nationwide. This restructuring includes the launch of a Hospital Management Diploma to improve technical and managerial capabilities, with the Minister emphasizing a shift away from bureaucracy toward data-driven, clinical-focused governance.

Additionally, the Minister led military inspections and operational deployments in Carabobo state. During these exercises, the Bolivarian Navy conducted naval maneuvers to evaluate response capacities and personnel training in national maritime spaces. As part of this institutional agenda, the historic Faro de Punta Brava in Puerto Cabello was officially reopened following a comprehensive rehabilitation by the Hydrographic and Navigation Coordinating Office (OCHINA), aimed at enhancing navigation and rescue systems.
