Venezuela’s Inces Records Over One Million Enrollments, Including 97,000 Seniors

The Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Educación Socialista (Inces) reported that it processed a record 1,016,500 registrations during the first five months of 2026, averaging four courses per participant.

In the first four months of the year the institute also enrolled nearly 97,000 adults aged 55 and older, 63.8% of whom are women, across more than 19,000 training venues nationwide. The highest regional totals were in Aragua (3,188), Caracas (1,888) and Trujillo (1,871). Training programmes for seniors included salad preparation, artisanal baking, Japanese basic cooking and other practical skills.
