Venezuela's Sistema Patria Begins August Social Benefit Payments

On 4 August 2026 the Venezuelan government started the next round of social assistance through the Sistema Patria platform. The Bono Único Familiar was credited at 11,175 bolívares (about $14.8) to eligible heads of household, with a complementary Bono Complementario Familiar of 3,725 bolívares for qualifying families, bringing the total possible August payment to 14,900 bolívares.

The payments are delivered automatically to users’ digital wallets; beneficiaries must keep their personal, employment and family‑member data up‑to‑date in the system and confirm receipt via a text‑message alert (short codes 3532 or 67373). The process requires no manual application.

In addition, the government announced a special “Bono de Contingencia 2026” of 223,500 bolívares for families displaced by the 24 June earthquakes, also distributed through Sistema Patria under the authority of acting president Delcy Rodríguez.

Recipients can verify their allocations by logging into the Plataforma Patria, checking the “Protección Social” section, and accepting the funds for transfer to their bank accounts.
