Venezuela's Public Ministry announces 87 successful prosecutor candidates

The Venezuelan Public Ministry (Ministerio Público) has released a list of 87 candidates who successfully passed the credential evaluation and opposition phase for prosecutor positions. These roles are located within the Metropolitan Area of Caracas and the state of Miranda.

Following the completion of Phase III, which involved the confrontation and validation of credentials between July 27 and August 7, 2026, the selected candidates will proceed to Phase V (psychological aptitude testing) and Phase VI (written evaluation). Candidates will be notified of their specific testing schedules via email.

In accordance with the rules governing the public competition, a five-day period from August 19 to August 25, 2026, has been established for the community to submit written objections against the selected candidates. Objections must be submitted in a sealed envelope with supporting documentation to the National School of Prosecutors in La Florida, Caracas, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
