Venice Film Festival hosts student media training and youth film awards

Educational and youth-focused initiatives are participating in the 81st Venice International Film Festival through specialized training programs and awards.

Students from IUSVE and Cube Radio are engaging in professional field experience at the Lido. Six collaborators are involved in content production, editorial support, and communication activities alongside entities such as Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo and Cinematografo. These students are also contributing to social media content for Avvenire, applying multimedia and social media management skills in a professional environment.

Additionally, the Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali (CGS) is conducting its Venice Cinema Laboratory. This program involves 39 participants from various Italian cities, focusing on film viewing, analysis, and criticism. The CGS is also presenting the 29th edition of the “Lanterna Magica” award, an official collateral prize of the festival that recognizes films addressing themes of youth, growth, and education.
