Venice Film Festival to host ‘Future of Creativity’ forum
The second CAA and Finch & Partners ‘The Future of… Creativity’ forum will take place on September 4 at the Scuola Vecchia della Misericordia during the Venice Film Festival. The invite-only symposium aims to explore how artificial intelligence and technological shifts are transforming creativity across various disciplines, including cinema, literature, and the visual arts.
Hosted by Venice Film Festival artistic director Alberto Barbera, the event will feature a diverse group of speakers, including George Clooney, who is attending to receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, and Venice jury president Maggie Gyllenhaal. Other participants include composer Alexandre Desplat, director Giuseppe Tornatore, and Cardinal Jose Tolentino de Mendonca of the Vatican. The forum will include panel discussions and audience participation to address the ethical and practical implications of AI on storytelling and culture.
